A captain is someone from your lineup you nominate to score additional points. A captain bonus comes in all kind of variations:
- A captain’s score will be doubled
- A captain’s score will be multiplied by 1,5, only in case of a win
- A captain will gain +30, +20 or +10 points if he finishes on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd place
A captain is called differently according to the sport of the fantasy game. Captain, Road Captain, Turbo Driver etc.
Some fantasy sports games also let you pick a vice-captain, who will earn the bonus points in case your captain does not play.
The captain (C) is subbed on the bench, so the vice-captain (V) takes over and doubles his points. Example of the Fantasy Pro League.
