About us

Fan Arena creates unique fantasy sports games for broadcasters, publishers and sports leagues. Our games are played by hundred of thousands of sports fans in Belgium, Europe and the world.

We are seeking a highly motivated and critical-thinking software engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for using AI technologies, such as GPT (ChatGPT, Github Copilot, etc) to deliver smart solutions for the company. In this role, you will be responsible for using AI tools to create efficient and effective solutions for our fantasy sports platform. You will be expected to be highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a focus on understanding the needs of the company and delivering results that exceed expectations.

As our AI-Powered Software Engineer, you will be responsible for our fantasy sports platform. You should be comfortable working with a range of AI technologies and be able to continuously learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies. And most importantly, you are totally crazy about sports.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently, as well as collaborate with founders (product design & marketing), frontend developers and freelancers. Our ambition is to further scale the company together with you.

About you

Are you the software developer with a passion for sports we’re looking for?

Degree in software engineering or similar;
Proven experience (min. 2 years) in software development with Typescript and React/Nextjs;
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) is a must, cloud functions and deployment services (Netlify, Vercel) is a big plus;
Communicate clearly and quickly;
Punctual in estimates, deliverables and appointments.
