Is being a Contrarian a solid strategy?
In DFS it’s actually a good game plan if you have to beat a large majority of entries. Playing against a lot of people means that most of them will put the expensive superstars in their team. If they perform well, everybody does. You should differentiate by picking low-profile and underowned players with a high upside.
In draft fantasy the best strategy is to go for the well-known and highly-ranked players in the first rounds. Later on you can switch tactics and aim for those players who are flying under the radar.
