A Late Swap is a fantasy game feature that allows a player to be substituted after the deadline with another player who has not played yet.
Usually the gameweek deadline is a hard deadline, after which no lineup changes can be made. The Late Swap still allows a manager to swap out a player who underperformed with a player who still needs to play, but has the potential to score more points.
