A Price Update is an increase or decrease of a player value in a classic salary cap fantasy game.
In a budget-based or salary cap fantasy game each player has a value. At the start of the season a player’s price is based on his skills, club, historical data, popularity and the budget each manager can spend on his team. A fantasy game organizer may decide to keep these values throughout the season, or let them fluctuate.
Price/Value updates may occur each day, each gameweek or when applicable. The value increases or decreases based on supply and demand. If a lot of managers are transferring the player out of their team, the player will decrease in price and vice versa.
