The first Fantasy Cycling game of the year has been launched: www.megabike.be.
Megabike Klassiekers is a budget-based fantasy game for the spring classics. The game is organized by Mediahuis and is part of the Mega Spelen fantasy sports franchise, which also includes Megascore (football) and Megabike Tour (cycling).
Everybody pays € 7 per team and there is no restriction on the amount of teams one can enter. The overall winner takes home € 5.000. The total prize pot is worth more than € 55.000 and includes e-bikes, spin bikes, travel cheques, TVs, iPhones, movie tickets and various home appliances. Players win prizes in the general ranking, the weekly ranking (each race) and there are special prizes awarded to the best teams in the Ronde van Vlaanderen.
Creating a balanced team is a big part of the fun: do you pick Mathieu van der Poel AND Wout Van Aert, or only one? And what to do with the living legends Philippe Gilbert, Alejandro Valverde and Greg Van Avermaet?

- Pick 15 cyclists (12 active and 3 in the bus)
- Earn points based on each cyclist’s performance. More points to be gained in the 4 Monuments.
- Select 1 road captain, who multiplies his points by x1.5

Flemish cycling fans are waking up from their winter slumber and are getting ready for the spring classics. No better time to activate this audience! In the weeks leading up to the first race it’s all about getting as many teams as possible.
