What is Fixture Congestion?

Fixture congestion is a run of matches packed into a few days.

Clubs rotate, so rotation risk rises for players who usually start. A fixture difficulty rating can still look easy while the minutes are shared. Congestion is about the calendar. The rating is about the opponent.
