What is Reseeding?

Reseeding redraws the tournament bracket after a round so the remaining teams are paired by rank again.

The highest seed still alive meets the lowest. A fixed bracket keeps the original path after an upset. Reseeding is a decision by the tournament. A re-bracket is a decision by the fan, who rebuilds the picks still to come.
