What is a Two-Legged Tie?
A two-legged tie is a knockout played home and away. The winner is the team with the better aggregate score.
Each club has one home match. A level aggregate can go to away goals, extra time or penalties, depending on the competition. A bracket challenge for European football uses this format in place of a single match.
